Happy no smoking day
Not that is seemed to make a jot of difference to people round the office. Still hordes of puffers gathered outside during the day. Still, least they had a good day for it.
And the dry, clear, sunny days have been most splendid for the ole' biking into work. The other day the Clyde was flat as a mirror and some of the mornings have produced picture-perfect views, most of them round the SECC / river area. I keep meaning to take my camera but naturally always forget.
And in other exciting news, there's now an image over there -----> which shows the progress so far. Aim is the 1000 mile mark for 2005. Hovering over will show you the actual details too, however, if you use RSS you'll need to actually fire up a browser to see it.
And won't be long till I no longer need the lights at all....

Sir Duderino
It claims your target is *ath this time* 191 miles. So you've got it set to your current miles. Sort it.
Ah the good old SECC. My old home. Since I left there my stress levels dropped so much I stopped drinking! 18 months tee-total (OK, blatent lie).
And just for the record.
MOO!

Alright already. The image is in the menubar on the right.
As for the target, that's currently a rolling target. The yearly target is 1000 miles, but the value of the popup shows the number of miles I should have completed assuming I cycle the same amount each day (e.g. (1000 / 365) * day-of-year).
It basically shows if I am ahead of schedule of behind.
That's what the blue triangle points to, and the grey bar is actually how far I've gone.
Obviously too complicated for you lot.

That's awesome! I want one of those on my blog, only I don't bike. :/ What if I have one for driving? Well, that just doesn't seem quite as cool. Or what about for smoking and drinking? I guess that one would be more of a "countdown towards death" thing, and who really says "My goal is to smoke 400 packs of cigarettes and drink 1000 beers this year" anyway?
Ok nevermind.
